There Are A Few Copies In Shops In North America & In Europe, But They Won't Last Long. We Apologize To Anyone Who Wasn't Able To Get Their Hands On A Copy. We Thought 10,000 Copies Would Be Enough For The First Run. We'll Keep You Posted Here For The Update On The Repress. We Called The Pressing Plant This Morning For A Rush Order.

REPRESS ON ICEY BLUE VINYL...EACH PRESSING WILL BE A DIFFERENT COLOR. WE'RE DOING EVERYTHING WE CAN TO GET THEM ASAP. WE WERE TOTALLY UNPREPARED BY THE HARD COPY DEMAND. WE KNEW IT WAS GOING TO BE GOOD...BUT THIS WAS INSANE!

So us in Europe miss out again, cost of shipping over here is ridiculous so can't order direct. The band seem to be against coming over to the uk to do a proper tour (we dont all live in/near london) too so can't buy from a show.I've pre-ordered on amazon but doubt I'll see that.

got my kill for love 12'' today from rockoutindie us shop via ebay - the cost was not crippling with postage to uk and much as i would rather order direct from idib they didnt have a pre sale, the vinyl is lovely but im sure it was presented as icy ivory - dont mind but was a surprise to find pink!

Ordered on 8/27 and still no record. I guess 10,000 vinyls prob takes a really freaking long time to ship out....
Ordered this magnificent album a week or two ago form the idib mail order store (together with 'Night Drive' & 'In the City' - unfortunately no more vinyl of the latter, bummer!) Of course, I had heard the tracks already, because I listened to the digital download files you get with each order (fantastic!).
The sticker on my copy of 'Kill For Love' said 'Icey Blue Vinyl', which surprised me a little, since I had ordered a "2xLP Magenta Vinyl" from their mail order store for sure… . Little did I know that there was already a second printing of this album, but I found that information soon on the internet. After opening the plastic wrap very carefully, I was even more surprised to see that the vinyl was actually… magenta!! Cover sticker says 'icey blue', but records are magenta! Hmmm…?? Again, I search the web and then it all becomes clear: "Magenta vinyl limited to 15,000 copies. First pressing of 10,000, and a mistake in the first half of the second pressing resulted in another 5,000 in magenta. Remaining 5,000 of the second pressing are on "icey blue" vinyl." (source: discogs). Quite amazing! I must have gotten a copy from the first part of the second pressing, 'a mistake' so to speak. That also explains why there are still some magenta vinyl versions available from the idib web store, and they are advertised as such.
Anyway, I'm happy to have found you, Chromatics. Your music rocks. Btw, I LOVE 'Cherry' and 'Ceremony' (me = big Joy Division & New Order fan), so, get your new albums out soon!!!!
