The double record just went live a few minutes ago on Itunes...5 years in the making. Recorded in seven different cities. Portland, Montreal, Los Angeles, Houston, Minneapolis, Paris, Jakarta. The epic hour and a half follow up to "Night Drive". We are completely speechless! Happy Birthday Chromatics!

Chromatics rule, their music is suspenseful, thoughtful and a joy to listen to. Hope they come to Mexico city someday soon. Will buy on vinyl when this comes out.

If I order the "Kill For Love" CD through the IDIB online store, does it come with a download code for the MP3 of "No Escape"? I desperately want that track..but I also want the CD! I'd just get it through iTunes, you can only get "No Escape" if you buy the whole album.

JUST MOVING THE MAILORDER TO L.A. : ) JOHNNY HAD A VOCODER HYBRID TALKBOX THINGY MODIFIED WITH A HARMONIZER IN MONTREAL FOR THE MUCH DISCUSSED "MALE" VOCALS ON THE ALBUM. IT'S A COMBINATION OF RUTH & ADAM SINGING ON "STREETS" ,"CANDY", "RUNNING FROM THE SUN" "THE RIVER", & "A MATTER OF TIME". CHROMATICS HAVE ALWAYS PLAYED WITH WEIRD VOCAL EFFECTS. CHECK OUT "DATE WITH A VOCODER" (2004), "THE WANDERER" (2005) , "LADY" 2006 ETC... SO SICK! XO
I'm a sad panda that I bought the CD version, but the only way to get No Escape is to buy the whole thing again on iTunes. :( Just bought the entire Chromatics back catalog - wish I had known about the missing track before getting the CD.
