the wheels of steel at a few other gigs low key style this weekend.

hello. so as you may or may not know, we moved from scenic
jersey city to a much nicer area. when we moved we switched
post offices (thank god). ever since we moved we have experienced
something we havent experienced in a long time: efficiency.
we feel this post office is a new beginning for us. some of you
have emailed us surprised by the speed in which their mail
arrived. we couldn't be happier. if there are any more issues
with the mail email us. but i doubt there will be any more problems.

also we have been receiving some returned mail thanks to the jersey
city post office. many of you have received emails from us and we
are returning what we have been sent back. that would be a few
of the fabled "spring bundles"... remember that fiasco?

anyway, we are running very low on tote bags and shirts, so if
you want one i would order it soon. Those designs will not be
made anymore after we run out of these. We are also down to the
copies of the Farah 12" and IN THE CITY 12"... As you know we
wont repress these, but they are available thru all of your
favorite digital outposts if you so feel inclined.

opinion. this is an ultimate summer jam. i remember
the summer it came out it was blasted from all the
car stereos. from the golden age of pre-reggaeton.

the instrumental version is hypnotic. the vocal version

Mike playing RUBULAD this weekend (w/ the HOMOSEXUALS!!!)

i always get asked about Rubulad... so heres your answer.
ill be playing there this saturday july 26 th. as you may or may
not know, Rubulad is held in Brooklyn at a location they want
to keep quiet so the police do not mess it up and shut it down.
if you would like info for the party email me or message me via
myspace. i go on at 3am and will play until everyone leaves
which is usually 9-10 am. unfortunately there arent any guest
list spots. hope to see you there!


most importantly- the HOMOSEXUALS are playing. you must attend this
as the HOMOSEXUALS are one of the most important bands of our times!

hey there. moscow was KILLER!!! its my new all time favorite
place. and i am sure the bands agree. glass candy and chromatics
blew the doors off the place. it was a sight to behold. if i didnt
run this record label i would sure be jealous! but seriously, it
was amazing! also sorry to the people who had to see me dj with
only a few cds. the airline lost my records and i had to burn cds off
my laptop. but it was fun! i even got to play some trance FINALLY! (lol).
it was also great hanging with Optimo again. they destroyed, and we
traded edits, yada yada yada,,, all in all a great weekend!

MAILORDER ISSUES

ok, so here is where we stand with the spring 12"s.
we shipped all of them out last week, and we gave
refunds for the TIEDYE "Nothing" 12", because it
is all gone. we tried waiting for the pressing
plant to right their wrongs and get these out, but
it wasnt happening and people were getting angry
(rightly so)... so look out for your records
coming next week or the week after that. once again
we feel TERRIBLE about this.

learned our lesson the hard way!

BRAZIL TRIP CHANGE

well, i couldnt get a visa in time to go
to Brazil so the date is rescheduled for
August 1 & 2- same venues, etc. i will
post the proper info for the three people
who care.

the flagship bands on the label are taking some time
off to record actual music this summer, except for a few
sporadic gigs here and there... so i will be
holding it down via the djing i guess.. look out for the
AFTER DARK 3lp soon. this time they will be IN OUR HANDS
when we offer it so there will be no fiascos like last
time! also next batch of 12"s are coming soon. these
three are going to be great!!!! (hint: the MIRAGE 12"
may actually finally see the light of day!!!)
